Two Men Arrested in Stolen Vehicle

Joplin Police arrested a Tulsa man and a man from Neosho who were riding in a stolen vehicle from Tulsa Sunday evening. Around 5:45, officers ran the license plate of an SUV and discovered the vehicle was reported stolen out of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. It was also determined that the vehicle had been used in a robbery in Tulsa County.

Officers stopped the vehicle at 7th and Murphy Avenue and arrested a 20-year-old driver from Tulsa for tampering with a vehicle. A 56-year-old passenger from Neosho was arrested for possession of approximately 15 grams of meth and tampering with a stolen vehicle. The suspects names have not been released.
